Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 13, 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Fuerst Class Customs (“Fuerst Class Customs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
Fuerst Class Customs provides home renovation and general home improvement services.
The specific work to be completed will be based on the agreed-upon scope of work, estimate, quotation, or contract provided to the customer.
2. Estimates & Quotes
Estimates and quotes are based on the information available to us at the time they are prepared. The final cost may change if the scope of work changes, additional work is requested, unforeseen conditions are discovered, or material and supplier costs change.
Any significant changes to the scope of work or price will be discussed with the customer before the additional work is completed where reasonably possible.
3. Changes to the Work
Customers may request changes or additional work during a project. Additional work may result in additional charges for labour, materials, equipment, or other costs.
Changes to the project may also affect the expected completion date.
4. Unforeseen Conditions
Renovation and construction projects may uncover conditions that were not visible or reasonably identifiable before work began, including structural problems, water damage, mould, electrical issues, plumbing problems, or other deficiencies.
If unforeseen conditions are discovered, Fuerst Class Customs will communicate the issue with the customer and discuss available options and any additional costs before proceeding with significant additional work, where reasonably possible.
5. Materials
Materials will be selected based on the agreed project requirements. Availability, supplier delays, discontinued products, or changes in material pricing may require substitutions or adjustments.
Where the customer supplies materials, Fuerst Class Customs is not responsible for defects, shortages, incorrect quantities, incompatibility, or delays caused by customer-supplied materials.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be agreed upon before or during the project. Customers are responsible for paying invoices according to the agreed payment schedule.
Fuerst Class Customs reserves the right to pause or delay work if agreed payments are not received when due.
7. Project Delays
Fuerst Class Customs will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the expected timeframe. However, completion dates may be affected by weather, material availability, supplier delays, inspections, permits, unforeseen site conditions, customer-requested changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and work areas and for communicating any relevant information about the property that may affect the work.
Customers are also responsible for removing or protecting personal belongings from work areas unless otherwise agreed.
9. Workmanship and Defects
Fuerst Class Customs will make reasonable efforts to perform work in a professional and workmanlike manner.
If you believe there is a problem with completed work, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to inspect the issue and, where appropriate, correct the problem.
Warranty coverage, if any, will be based on the specific agreement or contract for the project and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, alterations by others, normal wear and tear, or circumstances outside our control.
10. Permits and Approvals
Where permits, inspections, approvals, or other regulatory requirements are necessary, responsibility for obtaining them will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and cooperating with any requirements applicable to their property.
11. Cancellation
If a customer cancels or significantly changes a project after materials have been ordered or work has begun, the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred, including labour, materials, delivery charges, supplier fees, or other reasonable project-related expenses.
12. Photographs and Project Promotion
With the customer’s permission, Fuerst Class Customs may take photographs of completed or in-progress work for portfolio, advertising, website, or social media purposes. We will not intentionally publish identifying personal information without appropriate permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
With the customer’s permission, Fuerst Class Customs may take photographs of completed or in-progress work for portfolio, advertising, website, or social media purposes. We will not intentionally publish identifying personal information without appropriate permission.
14. Changes to These Terms
Fuerst Class Customs may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a specific project will be those agreed upon with the customer for that project.
