Mascore Helical Piles

Why Helical Piles?

Mascore™ Helical Pile Installation

Mascore helical piles provide an efficient foundation solution for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Installation begins by determining the required pile size and configuration based on the structural load and site soil conditions. The galvanized steel piles are then screwed into the ground using a high-torque, low-speed hydraulic drive attached to equipment such as an excavator or skid steer. Extensions can be added as necessary until the pile reaches the required depth and installation capacity. Mascore also uses installation and quality-control procedures designed to verify the pile’s performance during installation.

One of the primary benefits of Mascore helical piles is their speed and versatility. Unlike traditional concrete foundations, helical piles can generally be loaded immediately after installation, eliminating concrete curing time and reducing excavation, site disturbance, and construction delays. They can be installed in confined-access areas and challenging soil conditions, including locations with high groundwater or unstable soils, while their installation process produces minimal vibration and waste. This makes them suitable for applications such as decks, cottages, homes, additions, foundation repairs, docks, and commercial structures. Mascore’s evaluated helical pile products are also recognized through a Canadian Construction Materials Centre evaluation for specified foundation applications when used in accordance with its conditions and limitations.

Fast Installation

Helical piles can be installed quickly with minimal excavation, helping reduce construction time and site disruption.

Immediate Load Capacity

Unlike concrete foundations, helical piles can often support structural loads immediately after installation, with no curing time required.

Versatile and Reliable

They can be installed in a variety of soil conditions and are suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications

Minimal Environmental Impact

Installation produces less soil disturbance, vibration, and construction waste than many traditional foundation methods
